After getting an update I opted out, and I was supposed to wait for a major Windows release to be out. Windows 11 23H2 now. The major release came out, got it, also went out of the Insider channel automatically. The problem is Edge is still on the beta channel and it doesn't seem it will get . It is not possible to uninstall the basic Edge browser form Windows 10, Microsoft have embedded that into Windows 10, both versions will run alongside each other in Windows 10 as a separate entity, the nest option is to just delete the shortcuts to the basic version of Edge . . .

He ultimately installed Edge Beta. He set up Google as my browser and after 4 attempts installed Google Chrome, while keeping the regular Edge with Google attached too. Hello! I had installed the Beta and subsequently updated to the stable release. I then uninstalled the Beta as well from Windows programs. But within hours / a day, I see that the Beta build is reinstalled (albeit at a higher current release than the Stable version).
